At Dentistry for Children, Dr. Maher suggests children’s stories that describe a trip to the dentist as an excellent tool for very young children. Parents should convey good feelings to children about dental visits being a part of growing up, and take a positive approach to dental care.
During your child’s visits, our doctors and staff use a “Tell – Show – Do” method to explain each action to your child. This eliminates many of the fears children often face when going to the dentist.
We understand that emergencies happen, including pain, swelling, bleeding, fractured teeth, and lost fillings. Whatever the issue is, if it’s an emergency to you, it’s an emergency to us. When your child experiences an emergency, we will do our very best to see him or her as soon as possible. Please call our office to be seen promptly. During the times we are closed, you will be directed where to call for assistance.
Our dental team is dedicated to helping your child maintain his or her health and smile for many years to come. We look forward to getting to know you and your family. Please contact our practice to learn more about the dental care we provide and to schedule an appointment.
